Namby-Pamby: lacking energy, strength, or courage; feeble or effeminate in behavior or expression.
Natty: (esp. of a person or article of clothing) smart and fashionable.
Nomoi: laws and policies.
Nonentity: 1. a person or thing with no special or interesting qualities; an unimportant person or thing. 2. nonexistence. (Lawrence, Chatterley, ‘will be represented by a ripple barely to be distinguished from nonentity.’)
Nonplus: surprise and confuse someone so much that they are unsure how to react.
Nosegay: a small bunch of flowers, typically one that is sweet-scented. (Proust. Like the nosegay which a traveller sends us from some land to which we shall never return.)
Notwithstanding: (prep) in spite of.
Nuance: a subtle difference in or shade of meaning, expression, or sound.
